We have specifically designed the timing of the Experience The Power events and our other workshop events to address this issue. Since most of your patients are on a schedule, you simply schedule around the event.
For example if you're scheduling new patients three times per week, on a Monday Wednesday and Friday, and if they truly need adjustments three times a week, I guarantee you that you can adjust Wednesday and still find subluxations to adjust on Thursday. Have you tried this? Likewise if you adjust them on Tuesday I will guarantee you will still find subluxations to adjust on Wednesday. Also if you don't schedule these visits on consecutive days, the patient will go one week without any adjustments! Is that congruent? Do everyone a favor, and schedule them Monday Wednesday Thursday, Tuesday Wednesday Friday while you are attending a seminar on Friday and Monday. That still leaves a gap of three days between adjustments - there's no question that they are going to need to be adjusted on Tuesday and Wednesday when you return.
For all your other patients coming twice per week or less simply move their scheduled appointment one day early or later. We are only talking of one change per year that will only affect a small percentage of patients. If you make it a policy to book your weekly and less frequent patients on Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday you will reduce the need to change appointments even further.
Your practice volume should grow during this time. The extra energy created by being busy and coming back inspired from a great seminar will attract more new patients to you in the following week. I challenge you to test this, it works!
